Lamberhurst came out of their riotous home engagement against Wolsely Wanderers morally ascendant.

Although far from a complete victory, in fact a defeat, the Lamberhurst Lads were happy with their performance in comparison to their Sussex neighbours

We lasted a full five days whereas Feeble Frant only managed a day against Wolsely's Wreckers

We believe that a five day contest of skill like this could become the norm"
